Cosmic Café at Fairmount Park’s Lloyd Hall had its grand opening yesterday. Peg Botto, executive chef and owner, said she has committed to using seasonal, organic, and local ingredients whenever possible. There is also outdoor seating, which offers great views of the Schuylkill River and Boathouse Row.

Lloyd Hall is located at #1 Boathouse Row and is a recreation facility operated by the Parks and Recreation Department, which we’re sure isn’t as awesome as the one on TV. Mayor Nutter said, “It is a testament to the innovative work of Parks and Recreation Department staff that we now have seven locations within our park system where visitors can get nutritious, delectable meals and snacks.”
