The guys behind Roundeye Noodle Bar have announced the date and details of their next pop-up.
The noodles will be served on February 26th, and like the first pop-up, this one takes place at Matyson. The reservation-only event is sure to fill up, so pay attention here people: there is seating for around 250 people, and Roundeye will be accepting reservations on Saturday, February 25th only. To reserve your spot, call 215-564-2925 no earlier than 10AM on the 25th. In addition, “If you get a busy signal, please keep trying. There will be a waiting list, we will call you Sunday morning or afternoon if a spot opens up. We also plan to tweet out towards the end of the night if we have any soups left. All reservations will be confirmed on Sunday, Feb. 26th. If you do not confirm, your reservation will be cancelled.”

Charred Escarole – persimmon, mint, chevre, madras curry
Broccoli – vietnamese sausage, peanuts, sweet soy  Â
New Potatoes – green apple kimchi, radish, pickled quail eggsNoodles
Duck Pho – duck leg & foie gras dumplings, pickled burdock  Â
Pork Belly Ramen – soy stained egg, kale, shitakes, shoulder Â
Mushroom Miso – charred tofu, pea leaves, long beansJuice
Pineapple – vanilla, jalapeno, thai basil Â
Banana – sesame, vietnamese coffee  Â
Apple – ginger, sake, mint   Â
So don’t forget to call Saturday morning, hopefully the guys have better service than Ticketmaster.








I’m disappointed that a classy joint like Matyson’s would choose to call their place “Roundeye Noodle” House. I guess that means that the rest of the Asian noodlehouses are what? Matyson’s can do better than this. Seriously.
