Last Saturday, the folks behind Farmers Cabinet debuted The Boilermaker, a Gothic split-level bar that boasts 8 unique beer-and-shot pairings, draft beer and cocktails. The bar sits just around the corner from the Cabinet in the former space of Blue Bear Tavern (216 S. 11th St.). Hungry? Check out the 150-seat bar’s comfort food selection, heavy on house-smoked meats, roasts, burgers and hot dogs. (Kitchen stays open til 1:30AM.) Groovy?
