Mt. Airy Street Fare Is But A Week Away. Prepare to Sip, Savor, Stroll, (Or To Slurp Slam and Strut, If That’s Your Thing)

On September 19th at 6pm, no less than 45 trucks restaurants and carts and wagons and whatever else people are serving food and drink out of, will gather on Germantown Ave. at the Mt. Airy Street Fare.

The first two or three Mt. Airy Street Fares were actually Night Market events, but now like a young eaglet nudged from the nest, the plucky little street fair will go it alone. That’s actually the goal of all of the various night markets, to be spun off, like The Jeffersons and move up to a deluxe apartment in the sky, or to move to seattle and be a talk radio host, whatevs.

Thing is, after only two or three Mt. Airy Night Markets, the street fair has left the band and is putting out a solo record. That record drops Thursday, September 19th and here are some of the tracks you will be able to taste.
